- First, remove all the excessive glue. Try to get out as much glue as you can with your hands.
- If the glue has dried, then you can use a moist towel. Use warm water for this purpose as it will easily soften the glue.
- If the glue is still wet, take a towel and try to soak as much glue as possible.
- Now put distilled white vinegar onto a cloth and rub the area which has glue for one minute. Now leave it for 15 minutes.
- Remove the remaining adhesive by using a wet cloth and let the area dry.
- As an alternative to white vinegar, you can use dish soap.
- Apply to soap to the glue area gently by using a cloth. Don’t force it too hard as it may push the glue more deep into the carpet.
- Take a new piece of cloth and use it to dry the spot.

- If the super glue has already dried, use acetone nail polish remover to remove it. Dab it on the spot by using a cotton ball. Try it on a small area. If you see that it is damaging your carpet, don’t proceed forward.
- Now take a wet cloth and use it to soak up the adhesive. This cloth can also be used to remove any excess nail polish remover.
- When you have finished the above process, use a cleaning substance (that contains d-Limonene).
